Red Deer area unemployment rate up slightly in July

RED DEER- Stats Canada is out with unemployment numbers for July.
In the Red Deer area, the unemployment rate edged up from 5.4% to 5.6%.
The Alberta rate also rose from 6.5% to 6.7%.
The national jobless fell to a four-decade low of 5.8%, down from 6% in June.
