Sylvan Lake RCMP investigating death at home on Harper Drive

The Sylvan Lake RCMP are investigating a “sudden death” after they were called to a home on Harper Drive in the community on Tuesday.

Cpl. Matthew Howell, public information officer for the Alberta RCMP, said they were called to the home at 1:59 p.m. yesterday, where six officers responded, and found the individual dead on scene.

He added that they’re not sure of the cause of death yet or if any charges will be laid. He explained it will depend on the report from the medical examiner.

“We’re conducting a full investigation, but we don’t have any other information to share at this time,” Howell said.
