Hope Mission to hold Easter dinner for Red Deer’s most vulnerable residents
Hope Mission will be serving Easter dinner to the communities most vulnerable citizens this evening.
Supper will be served at 5 p.m. on Monday, April 6 and comes less than a week after they took over shelter operations at the Cannery Row building located at 5239 53 Ave.
“At Hope Mission, we believe hope begins with a meal,” said Tim Pasma, senior director of Hope Mission, in a media release. “Meals are an integral part of the care we provide 365 days a year. During the holidays, we want to make the meals even more special for our guests.”
The home-style dinner was made possible through generous donors who have given with compassion so that community members can enjoy a warm meal and community.
