Red Deer Public Schools announced the return of its division-wide open house series.

From now until May 15, the division is inviting families to connect with staff, explore spaces, and learn about the many programs and opportunities available to students.

“Our open houses are an opportunity to bring learning to life for families,” said Chad Erickson, Superintendent of Red Deer Public Schools, in a media release. “From meeting staff to exploring programs and spaces, families can see firsthand how we support students in learning, growing and finding success.”

Open houses are set for the following schools and dates:

  • Aspen Heights Elementary May 7 (6-8 p.m.)

“While our families are always welcome in our schools, this series creates a focused opportunity to make connections and feel confident in their child’s educational journey,” said Chad. “Families will leave their child’s designated school with confidence knowing that they are in the right place to learn and grow.”

The division-wide open house series has welcomed over 3,000 visitors to 20 schools since Red Deer Public introduced it two years ago.

“The energy we saw over the last two years has shown just how valuable these opportunities are,” said Chad. “We’re excited to welcome even more families through our doors this spring.”
