Red Deer man accused in alleged auto theft and re-vinning operation, ordered to stand trial
One of six people charged following a year-long investigation into an alleged organized auto theft and re-vinning operation, has been ordered to stand trial.
Quinn Richard Olson, 50, of Red Deer, was previously scheduled for trial last fall, but it never took place. A preliminary hearing was then held in Calgary last week and determined there was enough evidence for a trial to take place.
A new trial date(s) have yet to be set.
Olson is currently charged with attempted murder, discharging firearm with intent, and causing bodily harm by criminal negligence.
