The BIG Pursuit fundraising kicks off for Big Brothers Big Sisters

Fundraising for The BIG Pursuit in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters is on once again underway in Central Alberta.

The BIG Pursuit, sponsored by Servus Credit Union, is described by organizers as the primary fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Red Deer & District and sees teams race around Red Deer in search of one of three Golden Keys.

Officials point out this is an all-ages event that will take place on Sunday, April 26 and will go from 12:00–4:30 p.m..

Teams will be given clues to specific locations hosting exciting challenges that teams will be tasked with completing in order to receive the clue for the next location. After all the challenges have been completed, teams will be given a clue to the final location, where they will search for one of the Golden Keys and be rewarded with a cash prize if they do.

According to organizers, the first key found will give a $5,000 prize, the second key found will give a $3,000 prize, and the final key found will give a $1,000 prize. Additional prizes will be given out for other categories such as top individual fundraiser.

Officials say teams that fundraise enough money will have the option to use a Fast Forward during the event that will give them extra help in solving the clues.
