Bulldogs forward Ivashchenko named BCHL’s 2nd star of the week

Blackfalds Bulldogs forward Nikita Ivashchenko was recently named 2nd start of the week in the BCHL.

Ivashchenko, scored five times last week over the course of three games, a tie for most goals over the week, league-wide

Per the BCHL:

“The Kharkiv, Ukraine product was held off the score sheet in last Monday’s 5-2 home win over the Trail Smoke Eaters, before scoring two goals on Friday in a 4-1 road victory over the Vernon Vipers. Both of his tallies came on the power play and he was named first star of the game. The following night, Ivashchenko recorded his first hat trick in the BCHL, adding an assist as well for a four-point performance in a 7-4 victory over the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. He was named first star for the second straight night.”

The 2005-born forward is third in league scoring with 61 points in 44 games and tied for fourth in goals with 26.
