Community invited to West Park Community Association’s Winterfest on Saturday

Red Deer residents looking for something fun to do over the weekend are invited to attend the West Park Community Association’s Winterfest.

On Saturday, January 24, the free event will take place at the West Park Activity Centre from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., beginning with a pancake breakfast.

There will also be face painting, outdoor games, horse-drawn carriage rides, and s’mores by the fire.

Most importantly, the Association will be holding a bottle drive throughout the event, which will directly support the West Park Garden Redevelopment Project.

Bottles can be dropped off during Winterfest or by contacting the Association via Facebook Messenger or by texting 403-597-0368, and they’ll come to pick up the bottles from you.
