Rebels sign defenceman Noah Chadi

The Red Deer Rebels announced they’ve signed defenceman Noah Chadi to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.

The 17-year-old from Edmonton suited up for the club in two games over the last week and scored the game-winning goal against the Seattle Thunderbirds on Saturday.

Before that, he appeared in 26 games with the Grande Prairie Storm of the Alberta Junior Hockey League this season, where he recorded 13 points and 47 penalty minutes.

Last season, he played for the Edmonton Jr. Oilers Orange U18 AAA of the AEHL and posted 18 points in 22 games.

He also won a silver medal at the 2025 World Junior A Hockey Challenge with Canada West.
