Rebels deal Noah Milford to Penticton Vees

The Red Deer Rebels announced on Monday that they’ve traded forward Noah Milford to the Penticton Vees.

In return, they’ll receive a fifth-round selection in the 2028 WHL Prospects Draft.

Milford, 17, suited up in 28 games for the Rebels this season, where he notched four goals and six assists.

The product of Okotoks, Alta. was selected by the Rebels 150th overall in the seventh round of the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft.

Monday’s move comes just three days before the trade deadline on Thursday, January 8, at 6 p.m.

Red Deer has made a few trades over the last week, including moving forward Jaxon Fuder on December 27, followed by Keith McInnis, Matthew Gard, and Luke Vlooswyk in a four-team trade on January 2.

Rebels Owner Brent Sutter said just days ago that the trades were made because the team needed a major shake-up.
