Long-running Live Nativity pageant at Sunnybrook Farm returns
The long-standing live Nativity pageant, which has actually been going for more than 40 years, is back at Sunnybrook Farm in Red Deer this month.
The free event will be held Dec. 18 and 19 at 7:00 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 8:00 p.m. On Saturday, Dec. 20, showtimes will be at 4:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
In addition, an indoor crèche display, which is a stunning display of more than 300 nativity scenes from around the world, will be held nearby at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building at 3002 47 Avenue, Red Deer. Attendees can enjoy music, complimentary hot chocolate and cookies. Crèche display hours are from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Dec. 18 and 19 and 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 20.
Parking is complimentary for the event in the church building at 3002 47 Avenue
