City’s Toys for Tickets program continues until Dec. 5
Red Deerians still have time to donate to the city’s Toys for Tickets program.
The campaign, which runs until Dec. 5, allows residents with parking tickets to donate a new toy of equal or greater value than the amount owing to pay for the ticket.
Toys can be brought to City Hall.
“We know it takes extra time to go out and buy a toy instead of simply paying your ticket, and we truly appreciate that effort,” said Stephanie Gramlich, parking coordinator at the City of Red Deer. “But that small act of kindness makes a big difference for a child or teen on Christmas morning. Your choice to donate helps ensure every young person in our community feels seen and supported during the holiday season.”
