Lacombe resident wins $100,000 on scratch and win ticket

A Lacombe resident is $100,000 richer after she won the money on a $100 Ultimate Scratch & Win ticket.

Rasneet K. says she scanned the ticket on the Lotto Spot application and couldn’t believe she had won. She scanned it multiple times just to make sure she was seeing the amount clearly.

“I couldn’t believe it,” she said in a Western Canadian Lottery Corporation media release. “I told my parents right away, and they were so happy.

“I’m going to be able to pay off my school debt and help my family. I can’t explain the feeling—it’s just great.”

Rasneet purchased her winning ticket from Midway Esso at 7601 Henderson Way in Lacombe.
