Temporary road closures for Ponoka’s Santa Claus Parade

There will be temporary road closures in downtown Ponoka on Friday, Nov. 21 starting at 5 p.m. for the Santa Claus Parade.

The parade will start at the Ponoka Arena Complex (4410 54 Street) and will follow the following route:

• North along 54 Street;

• East down 46 Avenue;

• North on 50 Street;

• West on 51 Avenue;

• South on 51 Street;

• West on 48 Avenue and;

• South on 54 Street back to the Arena

The road closures will be removed once the parade ends. Motorists are asked to please drive with caution in the downtown on Friday, and do not drive on streets where ‘No Parking’ signs and barricades are in place.
