Nov 10, 2025 | 8:01 AM

A trial date has been set for a central Alberta man following the seizure of several explosive devices at a residence last month.

Terrance Bruno, 32, a resident of Samson Cree Nation, is scheduled for trial in Wetaskiwin Court of Justice on March 9, 2026.

Bruno was arrested on Oct. 23, 2025, for three counts of breach of a release order and possession of explosives contrary to order.

That day, the Maskwacis RCMP, with assistance from the Alberta RCMP Explosives Disposal Unit, conducted a search warrant at a residence in the community after receiving a tip that explosives might be present.

As a result, they found several improvised explosives that were destroyed on scene by the RCMP Explosive Disposal Unit.

Bruno was remanded into custody after a Judicial Interim Release Hearing.
