Watch for a special Remembrance Day episode of The Everything Red Deer Podcast this Tuesday, Nov. 11, wherever you get your podcasts.

Remembrance Day ceremonies around central Alberta

Red Deer: Servus Arena – 10:30 a.m.

Red Deer: Museum + Art Gallery – Between noon and 4:30 p.m., join us in honouring those who have sacrificed and served in the past or the present – with a meaningful community experience weaving together relevant history, stories and art. Explore military artefacts, take part in guided gallery tours, contribute to our “Wall of Poppies” memorial blanket by creating your own poppy, and from 1-3 p.m., 41 Signal Regiment 2 Squadron Red Deer will be with us to show us some of their personal kit and equipment – and how it works.
