Maskwacis RCMP asking for public’s help identifying two armed robbery suspects

Nov 7, 2025 | 4:05 PM

Maskwacis RCMP are searching for the two suspects responsible for an armed robbery at the Montana Gas Bar on Wednesday.

Police say they received a report on Nov. 5 from a victim who said two masked men entered the store, one carrying a gun and the other an axe, and allegedly demanded money from an employee.

As a result, one suspect allegedly struck the victim with the butt end of the axe, and police believe the two men left on foot but were picked up by a vehicle shortly after. As for the victim, they received only minor injuries, which were treated at the hospital.

The investigation, which has been taken on by the Maskwacis RCMP General Investigations Section, remains ongoing, and they’re asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects.

Both of their faces were covered by masks, but they are described as males with a medium complexion and distinctive tattoos on their left hands.
