The Lacombe Police Service have charged a 56-year-old woman from Lethbridge County following a traffic stop last month.
On Oct. 29 at approximately 3:25 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop after observing activity consistent with drug trafficking and provincial statute violations.
As a result, the driver was found to be driving the vehicle while suspended, and a search of the driver and vehicle unveiled five individually packaged bags of crack cocaine and $200 in Canadian currency. The items were seized by police.
