Red Deer District Chamber unveils 2025 Business of the Year award winners

The Red Deer District Chamber has announced the recipients of the 2025 Business of the Year Awards.

The 42nd annual awards ceremony took place Wednesday evening at the Red Deer Polytechnic Arts Centre where seven awards were presented to local businesses.

“These awards highlight the innovation, perseverance, and community spirit that define Red Deer’s business community,” said Frank Creasey, CEO of the Red Deer District Chamber. “Each of tonight’s recipients demonstrates the best of local enterprise, showing that when businesses thrive, our entire region benefits. We’re proud to recognize their achievements and their lasting contributions to Red Deer’s economic vitality.”

A total of 21 finalists were chosen from over 120 nominees by an independent adjudication committee comprised of local business leaders.

The following award winners include:

  • Servus Credit Union Small Business of the Year: Beyond Insurance
  • Max Benefits Large Business of the Year: PASS Electric Inc.
  • Payworks Innovation Award of the Year: Red Deer Polytechnic Division of Applied Research
  • Rotary Club of Red Deer Not-for-Profit of the Year: The Mustard Seed
  • Copper Cloud Emerging Businessperson of the Year: Jessa Fiel – Feet Terrific Nursing Footcare
  • CAEP Business Leader of the Year: Dr. Micheal Heinzlmeir – Pure | Elevate Your Health
  • ATB New Business of the Year: Booyah Bagels
