Red Deer County releases early advance voting results

Red Deer County has reported that 430 voters have cast their ballots for the 2025 municipal election so far, halfway through advance voting and special ballots.

The voter turnout represents 92 per cent of the advance voting and special ballots turnout in 2021, where the County had 466 voters collectively.

Advance voting continues on Tuesday until 4 p.m. at the Red Deer County Centre followed by the remaining schedule:

• Wednesday, October 15, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Red Deer County Centre;
• Thursday, October 16, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Red Deer County Centre;
• Friday, October 17, 12 p.m. (Noon) – 8 p.m. Red Deer County Centre, Innisfail Library & Learning Centre, Pine Lake Hub Community Centre and Spruce View Golden West Drop In Centre;
• Saturday, October 18, 12 p.m. (Noon) – 8 p.m. at Red Deer County Centre, Innisfail Library & Learning Centre, Pine Lake Hub Community Centre and Spruce View Golden West Drop In Centre.

The final opportunity to vote is on election day on Monday, October 20, when voting stations will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
