Lacombe Police looking into multiple break-ins at storage facilities

Lacombe Police say they are investigating multiple cases of storage facility break-ins.

On Oct. 8, LPS arrested and charged a 32-year-old male found in possession of stolen property.

Subsequent investigation revealed the individual’s involvement in a break-and-enter incident that occurred at a storage facility within Lacombe, police say.

The accused now faces charges for the following criminal offenses:

  • Section 351 (1) CC – Possession of Break-In Instrument(s)
  • Section 354 (1) (a) CC – Possession of Property Obtained By Crime

The identity of the accused will not be released at this time as Lacombe Police Service continue to investigate a series of recent break-and-enter incidents involving multiple storage facilities and industrial compounds in Lacombe.
