New doctor practising at Red Deer Regional Hospital and local clinic
Red Deer is welcoming another new family physician to the local fold.
Dr. Natasha Cronje is practising at Horizon Family Medicine, as well as at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre as a locum specialist.
Per AHS: Dr. Cronje earned her medical degree from the University of Pretoria in South Africa, followed by a diploma in primary emergency care. She is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in tropical medicine and hygiene through the University of Sheffield. Her 13-year military medical career, including international deployment, laid the foundation for her focus on emergency care and internal medicine. Her professional interests include travel medicine, a medical specialty focused on preventing and managing health risks associated with international travel.
“Red Deer has a strong sense of community, along with the opportunities of a growing city,” says Dr. Cronje. “It is the kind of environment where both professional practice and family life can thrive.”
