Annual ghost walk tour in Red Deer is a month away

Spooky season is right around the corner and the Red Deer Native Friendship Society will soon be holding their annual ghost walk tour.

On Oct. 30 and Nov. 1, participants will experience a 1.6-kilometre walking tour with a spooky element that combines history with authentic stories that originated in Red Deer.

For $30 per person, the evening will begin with a ceremony that honours ancestors and grounding their intentions.

They’ll then begin the guided tour through downtown Red Deer, exploring historically significant sites, which will run just under two hours.

Participants must be over 18-years-old to go on the tour that’s set for 6 to 8 p.m. and group size is limited to 20 people.
