City prepares to offer School Closure Day Camps

In the event of potential school closures, the City says it is preparing to offer a limited number of School Closure Day Camps beginning Monday, Oct. 6, 2025.
Officials say these camps are designed for children ages 5 – 12 and will run daily from October 6 – 10 at multiple locations across the city, including the Collicutt Centre, G.H. Dawe Community Centre, Michener Aquatic Centre and Culture Services at the Intermediate School.
Whether registering for a single day or the full week, city officials say children will enjoy a safe, supervised environment filled with playful activities, games, crafts, and fun. The city says camps are available in full or half-day options and are led by trained instructors who are ready to keep kids engaged, active, and happy while school is out.
Should school closures continue to be expected, registration will open Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 12 noon at https://looknbook.reddeer.ca/.
