Sorento wins big at 2025 BILD Alberta Awards

Local companies recently came home home with hardware from the 2025 BILD Alberta Awards.

The awards annually celebrate the home building industry and those who show excellence, innovation and leadership in residential construction.

Among the evening’s top honours, Sorento Custom Homes was awarded the prestigious Pinnacle Award for Small Volume Builder of the Year in Alberta.

Other celebrated local winners and nominees included:

• Colbray Homes – Single Family 1,600 – 1,700 sq ft – Vintage Farmhouse (winner)
• Sorento Custom Homes – Pinnacle Small Volume Builder of the Year (winner)
• Sorento Custom Homes – Single Family Under 1,500 sq ft – Poplar (winner)
• Sorento Custom Homes – Single Family 1,500 – 1,600 sq ft – Harper (winner)
• Sorento Custom Homes – Single Family Over 4,000 sq ft – Wexley (winner)
• Alair Homes Red Deer – Home Renovation Over $600,000 (nominee)
• Bruin’s Plumbing and Heating – Safety Leadership – General Member (nominee)
• Sidson High Performance – Infill Over 4,000 sq ft (nominee)
