Semi-truck rollover on Highway 2 causes traffic delays

Ponoka RCMP and emergency crews are currently on scene of a single vehicle rollover on Highway 2, south of the town.

At 8:41 a.m. police responded to the rollover which involved a semi-truck hauling lumber heading northbound on Highway 2.

Emergency Medical Services attended and cared for the driver who suffered minor injuries.

According to 511 Alberta, the rollover happened just north of Highway 604 near Morningside. In addition, the right lane heading northbound on Highway 2 is closed and motorists can expect traffic delays.
