Lacombe Police Service investigates series of thefts

The Lacombe Police Service is investigating a series of thefts that happened between Sept. 12 and 15 during the evening and through the night.

As a result, they’re asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity, or who may have video footage from the areas where the incidents happened, to contact the Lacombe Police Service.

Incidents under investigation include:

  • September 12–13: Theft of tires and rims from a truck at Lacombe Ford. The stolen property is valued at more than $8,000. CCTV footage has been reviewed, and the investigation is ongoing.
  • September 13–14: Theft of a battery from a holiday trailer located at 4500 block of 45 Street.
  • September 14–15: Theft of copper pipe from Pro Water Conditioning at 4920 Highway 2A.
  • September 14–15: Theft of copper wire from the back of a truck in the industrial area.

Police are reminding residents and businesses to remain vigilant and to call police immediately if they observe suspicious activity in their area.
