The Red Deer Terry Fox Run just had its best year yet, raising more than $43,000.
It even had close to 300 participants, with 20 volunteers helping celebrate 45 years since Terry’s Marathon of Hope.
“We are so appreciative of the support we received from all who fundraised and those who came out and ran, walked or wheeled for cancer research,” shared Loretta Winia, organizer.
“We are also very grateful for the local businesses who donated door prizes and snacks for this very important cancer fundraiser.”
