Recovery Day observance goes Saturday at City Hall Park
Red Deerians once again have the chance to observe Recovery Day, Sept. 6 at City Hall Park.
The free 11th annual event runs 1-3:30.
“Recovery Day is a free public event that promotes education, advocacy, and celebration of all pathways to recovery. This milestone gathering will feature inspiring speakers, live music, a kids activity booth, resource tables, and community organizations dedicated to wellness and support. Attendees can enjoy light refreshments and the opportunity to connect in a spirit of solidarity and hope,” organizers say.
“We believe that recovery saves lives and that every person seeking help deserves compassion, not judgment. Our vision is a community where recovery is understood, supported, and valued.”
