Two men have been charged following an alleged armed robbery at Ponoka’s Royal Hotel.

RCMP say it was just before 1 a.m. on May 17 when members at Ponoka detachment received a report of the noted robbery.

It’s said a masked suspect armed with a gun entered the bar and stole a cash box.
