Red Deer Golfer wins title at Alberta Men’s Super Senior Championship

A Red Deer golfer won the Diamond Division Title at this week’s Alberta Men’s Super Senior Championship.

Eric Brodie, competing in the 75+ division, fired a second round 76 for a two-day total of 154 (+10) — with a 78 on day one.

Brodie beat his closest competitor by just one stroke.

Overall, the Red Deer Golf & Country Club member finished tied for 18th, 12 shots off the pace.

The tournament took place at Magrath Golf Club, south of Lethbridge, Aug. 26-27.
