Alberta Culture Days

Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery to offer free programming in September

Aug 26, 2025 | 10:00 AM

The Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery is sharing their lineup as a participant in the upcoming Alberta Culture Days, which takes place throughout September.

This means all regular and special programming will be offered for free from Sept. 1 to 30 because of funding support from Alberta Culture Days.

“We are grateful for the funding support from Alberta Culture Days that is enabling us to waive the fees associated with any of our programming throughout the month of September. I’m hoping this inspires Red Deerians to check out our public programming at the Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery,” said Chandra Kastern, executive director.

“Folks can try out MAG Saturdays, sign up for Making Art History, go on a walking tour, or perhaps grab a ticket to Reel Movie Mondays – we really do have something for everyone.”

Alberta Culture Days, hosted by Government of Alberta-sponsored sites, runs throughout September and is the province’s largest celebration of heritage, arts, community spirit and cultural diversity.
