Heat warning issued for Red Deer as scorching temps continue
It shall continue to be hot this week across central Alberta and many other parts of the province.
A heat warning was issued Tuesday by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), replacing the special weather statement put out over the weekend.
Daytime high temperatures near 30 degrees Celsius combined with overnight lows ranging between 12 and 16 degrees Celsius are expected through the coming weekend, ECCC notes.
The heat will come to an end early next week.
