World Suicide Prevention Day event in Sylvan Lake

The Town of Sylvan Lake is hosting a free event next month to help mark World Suicide Prevention Day.

Sylvan Lakers are invited to bring their whole family for a hands-on event all about suicide awareness.

Town officials say there will be games and activities that teach you how to look out for yourself and those you care about. There will be a delicious taco bar supper afterwards.

Organizers say it’s a great way to learn, connect, and support each other in a friendly, relaxed setting.
