Red Deer’s third annual Afro-Caribbean Festival is happening Aug. 9-10.
The family-friendly event takes place along Ross Street, downtown, and is put on by the African Caribbean Centre of Central Alberta (ACCoCA).
It runs from 12-8 p.m. on day one, and then 12-6 p.m. on day two, between 48 Avenue and 50 Avenue on Ross.
The festival will feature a bevy of live entertainment, and lots of stuff for the kids, from bouncy castles to balloon animals, to a magic show and face painting.
