Red Deer McDonald’s worker’s art selected for cross-country in-store use
A Red Deer McDonald’s employee will have his art plastered on packaging, in-restaurant displays, and more, across the country after a recent company-wide talent search.
The initiative is called ‘Made at McDonald’s,’ and 17 employees across Canada will have their art used.
That includes Richard S. of Red Deer, who has worked for the company for 32 years, beginning in the Philippines in 1993. He currently works at Red Deer’s North and Parkland locations.
“Since I was nine-years-old, I joined different competitions, a number of exhibits and sold a lot of paintings — it’s my career along with my McDonald’s career,” Richard shares.
