Road work along Riverside Drive to cause closures and delays

The City of Red Deer says there will be multiple road closures along Riverside Drive from 67 to 77 Street this week.

Officials say milling will begin July 23, in which case a partial road closure will be required but access between 67 and 77 Street will be maintained. Despite that, motorists should still expect delays.

However, paving work on Riverside Drive will take place on July 26 and 27, which will result in a full road closure.

Access to Three mile Bend will be closed on Sunday, July 27 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
