UPDATE: Police respond to fatal four-vehicle collision on Highway 2

Blackfalds RCMP have reported that a four-vehicle collision on Highway 2 north of Highway 12 resulted in the death of a 71-year-old woman.
On July 16, crews responded to the collision at 1:04 p.m. where they found the woman, who was an occupant of the vehicle, deceased.
Four other people were taken to hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries, and a family dog also died in the incident.
Police remained on scene for multiple hours to conduct their investigation, which determined a Ford F350 truck hit a line of slower moving traffic.
