Sundre area sets July 8 temperature record

The Sundre area set a new record high temperature for July 8 on Tuesday.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the Sundre area reached a daytime high of 31.8 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, beating the old record for July 8 of 29.2 degrees Celsius set in 2015. Records in this area have been kept since 1993.
More moderate temperatures are forecast for the Sundre area over the next couple of days before warming up again on Friday and Saturday.
