Lacombe Police Service searching for suspects after break and enter

The Lacombe Police Service is searching for two individuals allegedly involved in a break and enter in the community on July 1.

At 2:10 a.m. Tuesday, police attended a break and enter in progress at the Best Buy in Lacombe where two men were in the store.

Once they saw police, police say they dropped the items they were holding and took off on foot through a rear emergency exit.

The RCMP Canine Unit were also involved in the search, which included locating a vehicle believed to have been used by the suspects. It was seized by the Lacombe Police Service for forensic examination.

At this point, the suspects have still not been located and police do not believe they are a risk to the public. However, if anyone recognizes the individuals, police say not to approach them and call police immediately.

The suspects both appear to be male with one wearing black pants, a grey hoodie with a black stripe down each side, and black and red shoes. The other suspect was wearing black pants and a black hoodie with white soled shoes.
