Jehovah’s Witness convention in Red Deer

Roughly 5,500 Jehovah’s Witnesses are anticipated to gather at the Centrium in Red Deer next month for a three-day program aimed at exploring the meaning of sincere reverence and worship.
The event from July 4-6 is part of an annual global convention series with the theme, “Pure Worship”.
“This will be the first time Red Deer has hosted a convention like this since 2018, as the pandemic interrupted our planned convention in 2020” said Brad Pramberg, spokesman for Jehovah’s Witnesses, in a media release. “Many people are searching for some kind of hope. The convention program will leave everyone feeling refreshed and re-energized with the knowledge of what worship is all about and how this can help them cope with today’s challenges.”
Organizers say the convention will present Bible-based videos, discourses and interviews.
