Jun 9, 2025 | 10:55 AM

The Town of Sylvan Lake has made N95 masks available for residents to combat the smoke blowing in from the ongoing wildfires throughout Alberta.

The masks, donated by the Canadian Red Cross, are free for residents having trouble dealing with the smoke. The town has limited the masks to two per Sylvan Lake resident.

They can be picked up at multiple locations including the municipal government building at 5012 48 Avenue; the Wellness and Community Connections Centre at 4725 – 43 Street; and the NexSource Centre at 4823 – 49 Avenue.
