Sundre area sets new temperature record for May 26

A daily maximum temperature record was set in the Sundre area on Monday.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), a new record high of 27.7 degrees Celsius was set in the Sundre area on Monday, beating the previous record for May 26, of 22.7 degrees Celsius set in 2018.

Records have been kept in this area since 1993.
