Red Deer MP Burton Bailey releases statement on being sworn in to 45th Parliament
Burton Bailey, Member of Parliament for Red Deer, has released the following statement after being sworn in to the 45th Parliament of Canada last week.
“It is a tremendous honour to be officially sworn in as the Member of Parliament for the newly established riding of Red Deer, said Bailey. “As I take on this responsibility, I reflect on the legacy of public service left by those who came before me. I am committed to carrying that tradition forward – serving the people of Red Deer and those in the surrounding areas with honour, integrity, and dedication.”
“This is a challenging time for many individuals and families across our region,” added Bailey. “From concerns about affordability to economic uncertainty, I recognize the pressures people are facing. I look forward to representing the people of this riding and supporting them through these times with compassion, advocacy, and action.
“Through the duration of the 45th Parliament, I will speak up passionately on behalf of our communities,” continued Bailey. “I will work to ensure your voices, concerns, and ideas are heard in Ottawa and understood across Canada. As I meet with residents, listen to your experiences, and collaborate with local leaders, I am focused on helping our region grow and thrive – now and for generations to come.”
