Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools hosting trustee information nights ahead of municipal election

Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools (RDCRS) is hosting a series of Catholic Trustee Information Evening events in an effort to “inform and inspire” potential trustee candidates ahead of the October 2025 election.

The board of trustees says these sessions will focus on the trustee vocation and welcoming community members to learn more about the role.

All sessions run 6-7:30 p.m. at the following locations:

• May 20 – St. Stephen’s Parish, Olds
• May 21 – St. Matthew’s Parish, Rocky Mountain House
• May 22 – St. Mary’s Parish, Red Deer
• May 23 – Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Sylvan Lake

These sessions are meant to be educational and not campaign events, the board clarified.
