Viterra, Canadian Foodgrains Bank mark 10 years of collaboration
A pair of organizations with operational ties to central Alberta are celebrating a decade of collaboration.
Viterra and the Canadian Foodgrains Bank say they will continue past the decade mark to fight for an end to global hunger.
That is, as they say, as millions worldwide face rising hunger due to war, climate disasters, and soaring food costs.
Together, they operate terminals in Lethbridge and Trochu in Alberta, as well as in Balgonie, Grenfell and Raymore — Saskatchewan locales. Those sites total 267 acres, all of which are seeded every year.
