Child Advocacy Centre hosts girls resiliency conference

The Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre (CACAC) welcomed over 275 girls from across central Alberta to the Climb Girls Resiliency Conference this week.

Taking place at CrossRoads Church, the conference is part of The Climb, a CACAC initiative dedicated to fostering self-esteem, resilience, and overall health and wellness among girls.

Attendees took part in sessions led by local businesswomen, community leaders, and professionals who shared their expertise and experiences, offering valuable insights and encouragement.

“It is our hope that the students will continue to use the techniques they learn at The Climb if they find themselves in situations where they are struggling or feeling anxious,” said Nicole Jones, the CACAC’s volunteer coordinator.
