Live election results: Ponoka-Didsbury — Blaine Calkins unofficial winner

It’s election night across Canada, and rdnewsNOW is bringing you the latest for our central Alberta ridings of Red Deer, Ponoka-Didsbury, Battle River-Crowfoot, and Yellowhead.

In Ponoka-Didsbury, Blaine Calkins has been named the unofficial winner, with 81.8 per cent of the votes as of 11:34 p.m., and 215 out of 216 polls reporting. We reached out to Calkins for a comment but were unable to reach him in time for publication.

Polling station numbers will be updated throughout the night, and may not be current to the latest posted by Elections Canada, which are available HERE.

On-air updates can be heard on 106.7 REWIND Radio and BIG 105 at 8, 9, 10 and 11 p.m.
