Trial date scheduled for man charged in central Alberta shooting
A trial date has been set for one of three people charged in a central Alberta shooting last year.
Dorian O’Shea Hunter, 24, a resident of Maskwacis, is scheduled for trial in Wetaskiwin Court of Justice on Sept. 12, 2025.
Co-accused Trey Littlechild, 25, and Alyssa Soosay, 30, both of Samson Cree Nation, saw their matters stayed in Wetaskiwin Court of Justice on July 23, 2024.
According to the Alberta Crown Prosecution Service (ACPS), it was determined there was no reasonable likelihood of conviction for Littlechild or Soosay, so the charges against both were stayed.
