For the second time, Red Deer Rebels athletic therapist Terence Robertson will represent Team Canada on the international stage.

On Saturday, Hockey Canada announced Robertson will be a part of the Canadian staff headed to the 2025 IIHF U18 Men’s World Championship in Frisco and Allen, Texas from April 23 to May 3.

He’ll join Andy Brown from the OHL’s Owen Sound, as one of two athletic therapists. Robertson also worked at the 2024 Hlinka Gretzky Cup in Edmonton where they won the gold medal.

First up, 18 players were invited to take part in a pre-tournament camp where they’ll compete for a spot on Team Canada from April 12-15 in Oakville, Ont.

Roster additions will be announced in the coming weeks following the conclusion of the second round of the CHL playoffs. The final roster will be announced before the start of the tournament.

The 2025 IIHF U18 Men’s World Championship kicks off on April 23 with Canada taking on Slovakia in the preliminary round. The tournament will conclude with the medal games on May 3 on TSN.
